On Wednesday the 6th of December between 15:30-17:00 pm, we at Forum for Social Innovation Sweden, Grants Office and Mau innovation invite you to a glühwein mingle where we will reflect and prepare our participation in the EU Commission’s targeted consultation regarding making the New European Bauhaus (NEB) a mission under the next framework program for research and innovation (R&I) from 2028.
The objective of the NEB mission is to make the green transformation of the built environment more accessible, affordable, and attractive to neighbourhoods.
In order to gather the views of the professional community on the R&I needed, the European Commission has opened a targeted consultation, divided under 5 subheadings, which are open until December 31st. We, therefore, invite you to this mingle where you will have the opportunity to exchange your reflections and get your input gathered as well as forwarded by us the organizers – complementing your individual responses to the surveys.
The consultation consists of questions such as “Which overall and specific objectives for the neighbourhood transformation should the proposed mission aim for?”, ”What are the main obstacles to tackle for neighbourhoods and investors to encourage collaboration and invest in a speedy transformation of living spaces and the construction ecosystem?”, and ”How could current architecture policies and regulations better adapt to the rapid changes in the citizens’ needs in the post-pandemic era”?
The 5 surveys can be found here:
